
Career: Caroline has over 25 years’ experience in pensions and benefits, starting in pensions administration and consultancy before moving in-house in 2004. Following a nine-year stint at Experian PLC, where she gained additional experience both in the UK and internationally, she worked as Head of Compensation & Benefits for Clarkson PLC, before moving to Synthomer PLC as Global Pensions & Benefits Director, where she has been since 2018. Caroline has considerable experience in setting global benefit strategies, managing pension and benefit risk, and implementing global governance frameworks. She is a core member of Synthomer’s Global Wellbeing Steering Committee and a senior leader ally for Synthomer’s ‘Thrive’ network, the company’s LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group. Caroline served over 10 years on the Pensions Management Institute London Group Committee, spending some of that time as Business Secretary, organising industry events for local pension professionals. She is a fellow of the Pensions Management Institute (FPMI) and holds the Diploma in International Employee Benefits (DipIEB).
Outside of the office:
A keen sailor, Caroline has competed in a number of offshore racing campaigns, including the Rolex Fastnet Race on two occasions and, the 2022 Round Ireland Race. The Round Ireland Campaign led to the crew picking up the David Fayle Memorial Cup, for the best performance of a sailing school yacht over the 2022 season.
