Best Benefits Strategy / Innovation of the Year

• How has your overall workplace savings and benefits strategy excelled and helped reach organisational goals this year? How did it evolve in the face of Covid-19?
• Did you change your approach to communicating workplace benefits and engaging staff as a result of the pandemic?
• What other innovations have you used to maximise the role that benefits can play during the challenging period of the past 12 months?

Best Pensions Strategy of the Year

• How have you tackled the challenge of pensions at your organisation during the past year, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic?

Best Communications / Engagement Initiative of the Year

• How have you communicated with and engaged your workforce, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic of the past year?
• Entries can be for either a one-off event or prolonged campaign related to any elements of workplace savings and benefits.

Best Healthcare and Wellbeing Strategy of the Year

• How have you supported your workforce's health and wellbeing, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic?
• Entries can be for either a one-off event or prolonged campaign related to any aspect of health and wellbeing.


Best Financial Education Strategy

• How have you supported your workforce financial literacy through a financial education or engagement programme, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic?
• Entries can be for either a one-off event or prolonged campaign related to any aspect of financial education
• Did you focus on one section of the workforce or was your initiative company-wide?
• How was the initiative delivered? Did you use face-to-face, online or other delivery methods?
• How did you assess the effectiveness of the programme and what feedback did you receive?
• All entries should be supported by clear and accurate data to illustrate the impact of a well-targeted financial education strategy on the workforce and on company objectives. They should also show how you have supported employees during the pandemic.

This category is open to all employers who have completed an initiative to help maintain or improve their employees' mental health over the 12 months to 31 January 2021.

• What new initiative did you introduce over the last year and how has it helped reduce or better manage mental health issues among your employees?

Best Benefits to Support Employees during the Pandemic


This category is open to both employers, providers and consultants but should be focused on the specific initiatives launched to support the employees at either your business or the employees of your clients.

• What initiative/strategy/communication have you introduced to help support employees or client employees during the global pandemic?
• Asides from flexible working arrangements, what other initiatives have you introduced to help support employees’ physical and mental wellbeing during the crisis?

This is open to consultants and intermediaries in all areas of workplace savings and benefits.

• What have your key achievements been during the 12 months to 31 January 2021? How have you helped clients during this period?

• Key achievements could include how you helped clients respond to the Covid-19 pandemic, the launch of products and/or initiatives, new communication strategies and support processes or simply providing exceptional service for your clients during the year, helping clients deliver their objectives and solving particular challenges they face.

Pension Consultant of the Year

This is open to pension consultants and intermediaries.

• What have your key achievements been during the 12 months to 31 January 2021? How have you helped clients during this period?

• Key achievements could how you have helped clients respond to the Covid-19 pandemic, the launch of products and/or initiatives, new communication strategies and support processes or simply providing exceptional service for your clients during the year, helping clients deliver their objectives and solving particular challenges they face.

Group Risk Consultant of the Year

This is open to all consultants and intermediaries advising on group risk.

• What have your key achievements been during the 12 months to 31 January 2020? How have you helped clients during this period?

• Key achievements could include how you helped clients respond to the Covid-19 pandemic, the launch of products and/or initiatives, new communication strategies and support processes or simply providing exceptional service for your clients during the year, helping clients deliver their objectives and solving particular challenges they face.

Healthcare and Wellbeing Consultant of the Year

This is open to all healthcare and wellbeing consultants and intermediaries.

Benefits Innovation of the Year

This is open to providers in all areas of workplace savings and benefits.

• What new innovations have you introduced/developed over the past year and how has it / will it help clients and fulfil their needs?

• Innovations entered in this category could include new products, services, strategies or initiatives. It could also include products or services developed in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

• All innovations should have been launched/developed in the 12 months to 31 January 2021 or have been largely worked on in that period (innovations launched just after 31 January 2021 will be considered if the bulk of the development was done in the year being judged).

Benefit Communications Initiative of the Year

This category is open all providers, consultants and other intermediaries in the workplace savings and benefits arena.

• What new communications innovation or service did you introduce over the last year that has had a significant effect on your clients? How did it support employers and their employees, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic?

• Entries can be for either a one-off event or prolonged campaign related to any elements of workplace savings and benefits.

• Did you help your clients cope with Covid-19? How did you help increase staff benefits take-up with a new communications campaign? Have you improved staff engagement by introducing a new benefit? Or have you used a combination of benefits and communications to successfully promote and encourage staff loyalty and engagement?

This category is open all providers, consultants and other intermediaries in the workplace savings and benefits arena.

• How have you harnessed technology to help clients during the 12 months to 31 January 2021?

• Have you launched new technology platforms / solutions, used big data to deliver new insight to your clients or used your technology to help your clients better engage their staff?

• Or have you used technology to solve client challenges, such as those posed by the Covid-19 pandemic?

This category is open to providers of all forms of car scheme benefits.

This category is open all providers, consultants and other intermediaries in the workplace savings and benefits arena and aims to recognise the provider that has launched, or largely completed, an initiative to help employers improve wellbeing over the 12 months to 31 January 2021.

Best Benefits to Support Employees during the Pandemic


This category is open to both employers, providers and consultants but should be focused on the specific initiatives launched to support the employees at either your business or the employees of your clients.

Diversity and Inclusion Excellence Award

This category is open to all providers, consultants and other intermediaries in the workplace savings and benefits arena and aims to reward those firms that best promote diversity and inclusion within their own workforce as well as those who have contributed to industry-wide initiatives in this area. Judges will, in particular, look at initiatives launched and conducted during the year to 31 January 2021 and how these initiatives reflected the reality of a world in pandemic.
